“Billie’s voice has an atmospheric quality of charm and haunting beauty.”

Amazing grace.

Billie has established herself as a prominent trial lawyer, renowned for her compelling arguments. When it came time to organize her mother’s memorial, her mother expressed a wish for Billie to perform “Amazing Grace.” Having grown up in a Baptist church, Billie’s debut singing experience involved her mother playing piano while she sang “Because He Lives” to their congregation. These two hymns became significant anchors in her life story.

Her mother intimated that she may have spoken too much at her father’s memorial, requesting instead, “Would you just sing at mine?” When the moment arrived, Billie fulfilled this request, realizing that her voice could transcend the courtroom and forge deep connections among people.

Though Billie had always cherished singing and was familiar with the Great American Songbook through her passion for jazz, her desire to perform intensified following her mother’s life celebration. A colleague remarked that Billie’s collection of songs continues to grow, supported by some of the best mentors in the region and surrounded by enthusiastic fans. They are drawn to her meticulous attention to music and her skillful choice of fellow musicians, creating moments that resonate with the essence of our shared humanity.

Billie is dedicated to leveraging her talents in music, law, and promotion to uplift her fellow artists within the community.

“Billie is blessed with a gorgeous natural sultry sexy voice that lends itself beautifully to just about any jazz/pop standard I can think of. She is a pure pleasure to accompany on piano!”
